About the Team

You’ll join Williams-Sonoma, Inc.’s in-house digital media team, responsible for planning, launching, and optimizing campaigns across all 10 WSI brands. The Programmatic team manages campaigns across Display, Native, Online Video, YouTube, CTV, and emerging digital channels. You’ll help fuel customer growth and sales through data-driven media strategies across a dynamic multi-brand portfolio.

 

About the Role

As an Analyst, Performance Marketing – Programmatic, you’ll support and optimize digital advertising campaigns across multiple WSI brands. You’ll gain hands-on experience working within DSPs and related platforms while helping scale retargeting, CRM, and prospecting campaigns across multiple ad formats and channels.

 

This is an opportunity to build expertise in digital media, campaign strategy, analytics, and ad technology within a fast-paced in-house environment. You’ll work closely with a Senior Analyst to help develop tactical strategy for each brand while partnering with cross-functional teams to test and execute campaigns that drive revenue and improve return on ad spend.

 

Candidates should have experience working in programmatic advertising and familiarity with RTB platforms. Experience working with direct response advertisers preferred.

 

Responsibilities

  • Set up, manage, and optimize programmatic campaigns across Display, Native, Online Video, YouTube, CTV, and emerging channels while meeting or exceeding performance goals 
  • Create tactical media plans using first- and third-party data to support campaign execution and business objectives 
  • Proactively monitor campaign pacing and performance, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of budget while maintaining campaign efficiency 
  • Track, analyze, and communicate campaign performance, optimization decisions, and tactical recommendations to cross-functional business partners 
  • Own the end-to-end creative process from asset delivery through launch, partnering closely with brand and vendor teams to execute 
  • Monitor ad verification, viewability, and brand safety standards to maintain campaign quality and performance 
  • Troubleshoot campaign setup, tracking, pixel implementation, dynamic creative, and platform-related issues as needed
  • Support ongoing test and learn initiatives, with a focus on improving campaign efficiency and incremental performance
  • Own select tests independently while partnering closely with Senior Analysts and Marketing Analytics teams on larger-scale experiments
  • Manage relationships with DSPs, SSPs, publishers, and related technology partners  

 

 

Criteria

  • 1+ years of experience in programmatic advertising, DSP campaign management, or related digital media experience 
  • Familiarity with DSPs including site pixels, audience segmentation, optimization levers, reporting/insights, etc. 
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and identify actionable insights 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to synthesize technical detail and communicate to all levels of the organization 
  • Intellectual curiosity, entrepreneurial spirit, and drive to innovate 
  • Comfort working in an adaptive, fast-paced environment 
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups, sumifs, etc.) 
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required 
  • This role requires being onsite in the Davis office Monday through Thursday

The expected starting pay range for this position is $70,000-$80,000. Applicable pay ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. In addition to competitive pay, compensation may include a variety of other components like benefits, paid time off, merit, and bonus opportunities.
