  • Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Deliver outstanding guest service by engaging with guests in a friendly and attentive manner, promptly addressing inquiries and concerns to ensure a positive dining experience.
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages in accordance with company standards, recipes, and safety protocols.
  • Ensure breakfast offerings are fully stocked, attractively displayed, and replenished regularly during service hours.
  • Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized breakfast area-including food preparation surfaces, storage rooms, and dining space-throughout the shift.
  • Perform daily cleaning and sanitation of breakfast equipment and storage areas to meet health and safety standards.
  • Conduct weekly and monthly food and supply inventories, ensuring accurate record-keeping and proper stock levels.
  • Submit timely and accurate inventory requisitions to maintain sufficient food, beverage, and supply levels, avoiding shortages or overstock.
  • Monitor product expiration dates and practice FIFO (First In, First Out) to minimize waste and ensure food quality.
  • Uphold and enforce all food safety and hygiene standards and company policies to ensure the safety of guests and staff.
  • Collaborate with other team members and departments to support smooth hotel operations and guest satisfaction.
  • Assist with training new team members as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by department leadership.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior experience in food service, hospitality, or customer service is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly and professionally
  • Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
