About Broccoli

Broccoli AI is building the future of customer service for the trades. Our AI voice agents help plumbing, HVAC, and electrical businesses deliver fast, reliable, and empathetic support around the clock. Our mission is simple: to democratize great customer service so every contractor, no matter their size, can give customers the experience they deserve.

The Role

We’ve gone from $0 to $5M ARR in just one year by showing up where our customers live: tradeshows, industry dinners, and offline events. Field marketing has quickly become our biggest growth engine—and now we’re hiring our first Field Marketing Lead to take this channel to the next level.

You’ll own the end-to-end event strategy: from planning and logistics to creative campaigns and execution on the ground. This is a high-visibility role with founder backing, a real budget, and the chance to shape how Broccoli shows up in the market. For the right person, this role can also transition into Head of Events, leading our event strategy across the country as we scale.

Key Responsibilities

1. Event Marketing & Tradeshow Execution

  • Lead the full lifecycle of Broccoli’s tradeshow and event presence—planning, coordinating, and executing all field marketing activities.

  • Manage booth logistics, including shipping, setup/teardown, storage, and vendor coordination.

  • Own event registrations, speaker applications, and badge handling for internal staff and partners.

  • Oversee lead capture, list cleanup, and timely follow-up processes in collaboration with the sales and marketing teams.

  • Plan and execute Broccoli-hosted VIP events, partner dinners, or pop-ups to engage customers, influencers, and industry insiders.

  • Track event performance and make recommendations to increase ROI and impact.

2. Partnerships & Referrals

  • Own and grow Broccoli’s strategic partnerships, including trade associations, manufacturers, software platforms, and influencer communities.

  • Design and manage a robust referral program that rewards contractors, advocates, and affiliates—ensuring operations run smoothly and communications are clear and consistent.

  • Collaborate with Sales, Success, and Product on co-branded campaigns, cobranded content, and partner onboarding.

  • Cultivate relationships with partners through proactive outreach, meetings, joint events, and social engagement.

  • Integrate partners into Broccoli events and marketing, including cobranded booths, materials, campaigns, and VIP moments.

3. Lightweight Design & Marketing Support

  • Use tools like Canva, Figma, or Adobe Express to quickly turn around flyers, booth graphics, handouts, and social posts.

  • Support the Marketing team with collateral creation and asset updates to ensure brand consistency.

  • Manage swag production and inventory for events, partnerships, and internal use.

What You’ll Need

  • 2–4 years of experience in marketing coordination, event planning, field marketing, or partnerships.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills with an eye for detail.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to represent the brand with clarity and warmth.

  • Familiarity with CRM tools, Google Workspace, and lightweight design tools (e.g. Canva or Figma).

  • A hands-on attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-moving, high-energy team environment.

  • Bonus: Experience in the trades, tech-enabled field services, or startup environments.

What We Offer

  • Competitive compensation and benefits.

  • Flexible, human-first working culture.

  • Big impact in a growing company doing meaningful work.

  • A passionate, creative team—and a whole lot of purple swag.
