DayDream helps dentists get paid for the work they do. In this $165B market, our product simplifies the complex process of verifying insurance coverage, submitting claims, appealing denials, billing patients, and maintaining clean books. As a result of how complex this process is and how many things get lost in the process, dentists can lose 10-20% of their revenue!

What this leads to is the things patients hate about the American healthcare system: it’s inefficient, unaffordable, and just too d*mn confusing. We work with a lot of dentists and they don’t love it either. Dentists want to treat you, help you, and see you smile.

We believe that by automating parts of revenue cycle management, we increase financial transparency for everyone involved - patients, providers, and help support small business owner dentists across America.

The Role

We are looking for a founding brand & product designer

Responsibilities include:

  • You will be responsible for designing the DayDream product - a powerful productivity tool by experienced domain experts while being beautiful and intuitive.

  • You will be responsible for the brand design of DayDream. This includes team merch, conference swag, FB ads, etc.

  • Set the bar for design craft and UX in all parts of the company - not just the product!

  • Own and iterate on design alongside domain experts and customers who are using your tool everyday and rely on it to keep their business running

  • Help shape design culture from the ground up.

Here are some problems we are currently thinking about (and you could help solve!)

  1. How do we make DayDream as dense and productive as possible while making the product intuitive to use, especially for non-technology-native users?

  2. As LLMs (and thus our automations) get better and better, how do we transition the UI from a copilot experience to an agentic experience?

  3. We have an extraordinary amount of many-to-many relationships between data models. How do we represent this well in the UI?sikk
