Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing, this position begins with a strong focus on paid social and evolves into broader media ownership as the company scales.
Role Overview
As the Growth Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for building, optimizing, and scaling paid social campaigns while guiding organic social strategy and content planning. You'll collaborate closely with creative partners, influencers, and internal stakeholders to ensure performance and brand storytelling work hand-in-hand.
This role is best suited for marketers who enjoy balancing performance metrics with creative experimentation and who are comfortable making decisions based on data, testing, and iteration.

Candidates must demonstrate the ability to perform the following to be considered for interview:
Strategically plan, execute, and scale paid social campaigns across platforms such as Meta and TikTok
Manage and allocate budgets to efficiently grow reach, engagement, and performance
Monitor and optimize campaigns on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to maximize efficiency and ROI
Develop clear performance reports with actionable insights, learnings, and recommendations
Partner closely with creative teams to ideate, test, and produce high-performing ad assets
Stay current on cultural trends, platform changes, and algorithm updates impacting social performance
Design and manage testing roadmaps, launch schedules, and optimization timelines for campaigns and product launches
Own the social content calendar, coordinating paid, owned, and influencer content
Oversee influencer campaigns end-to-end, including strategy, sourcing, contracting, briefing, and content delivery
Support the expansion of media efforts into new channels as the company grows
Required Qualifications
Candidates must meet the following criteria to be considered:
3–6 years of hands-on experience managing paid social campaigns
Demonstrated ability to own strategy, execution, and optimization—not just reporting
Strong analytical skills with experience managing CAC, ROAS, testing frameworks, and performance optimization
Comfort working cross-functionally with creative, content, and leadership teams
Clear communication skills with the ability to translate performance data into insights for non-marketers
Preferred Qualifications (Strongly Emphasized)
Candidates with the following background will receive priority consideration:
Experience at a design-forward or brand-driven company
Background in B2C tech, digital health, fintech, e-commerce, marketplaces, or beauty
Experience working in both agency and in-house environments
Hands-on experience managing influencer campaigns or UGC programs
Strong creative judgment with a sharp eye for premium brand storytelling and visual consistency
Comfort balancing experimentation with disciplined performance goals
Why This Role Stands Out
High ownership over both paid performance and organic brand presence
Opportunity to shape a growing social and media strategy from within
Direct partnership with marketing leadership and creative teams
Competitive compensation, equity upside, and strong benefits
Hybrid onsite structure in San Francisco with room for growth
