Our mission is to build the next generation of AI: ubiquitous, interactive intelligence that runs wherever you are. Today, not even the best models can continuously process and reason over a year-long stream of audio, video and text—1B text tokens, 10B audio tokens and 1T video tokens—let alone do this on-device.

We're pioneering the model architectures that will make this possible. Our founding team met as PhDs at the Stanford AI Lab, where we invented State Space Models or SSMs, a new primitive for training efficient, large-scale foundation models. Our team combines deep expertise in model innovation and systems engineering paired with a design-minded product engineering team to build and ship cutting edge models and experiences.

Role Responsibilities

We’re looking for our first GTM Recruiter to help us scale our go-to-market and business teams with the same thoughtfulness and precision that defines our technical hiring. You’ll be responsible for identifying and hiring top talent across sales, marketing, operations, and customer success — partnering closely with leadership and helping shape how we tell the Cartesia story to the world.

This is a high-impact, hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and brings a mix of scrappiness, strategy, and care to every hire.

What You'll Do

  • Own full-cycle recruiting for GTM and business roles, from sourcing to close

  • Build our GTM and business hiring processes from scratch, including interview plans, rubrics and assessment criteria

  • Partner with hiring managers to deeply understand each team’s goals and build tailored hiring strategies

  • Craft compelling outreach and deliver an exceptional candidate experience that reflects Cartesia’s culture and mission

  • Build diverse, high-quality pipelines through sourcing, referrals, and creative channels

  • Manage the interview process end-to-end, ensuring a smooth, inclusive, and thoughtful candidate journey

  • Track hiring metrics and use data to refine processes and improve outcomes

What You'll Bring

  • 4+ years of experience in GTM or business recruiting, ideally at a high-growth startup

  • A proven track record of sourcing exceptional talent, and strong candidate engagement skills

  • Ability to manage multiple searches at once, often with evolving needs

  • Clear communication, attention to detail, and a high bar for candidate experience

  • Comfort working with ambiguity and adapting quickly as we scale

  • Bonus: experience recruiting at an AI-focussed company
