A growing, fast-paced organization is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join its team. This role will play a key part in supporting the full employee lifecycle β€” from onboarding and employee relations to benefits administration and compliance.

Responsibilities:

    • Support day-to-day HR operations across multiple functions including onboarding, benefits, payroll coordination, and HRIS updates.
    • Serve as a first point of contact for employee inquiries, providing guidance on policies, benefits, and general HR matters.
    • Partner with managers to address employee relations issues and promote positive workplace culture.
    • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
    • Assist with HR projects such as performance reviews, compensation reviews, and engagement initiatives.

Qualifications:

    • 3–5 years of HR experience in a generalist capacity.
    • Strong understanding of California employment laws and regulations.
    • Experience with HRIS systems (Workday, BambooHR, or similar).
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
    • Start-up industry experience preferred.
$75,000 - $85,000 a year
