Job Description:
This job is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of the job include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, and solutions are well designed with maintainability/ease of integration and testing built-in from the outset. Job expectations include a strong knowledge of development and testing practices common to the industry and design and architectural patterns.

Position Summary:

We're looking for a talented iOS Engineer to help design, build, and maintain the next generation of iOS applications. The main focus is on developing high-end apps for the latest Apple mobile devices. This role involves collaborating with the design team to define and deliver new features, identifying and resolving bottlenecks, maintaining the core codebase, and managing updates for applications published on the App Store. Typically, candidates should have a minimum of 5-7 years of experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Codes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements
  • Designs, develops, and modifies architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers while ensuring principal architecture integrity is maintained
  • Mentors other software engineers and coach team on Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) practices and automating tool stack
  • Executes story refinement, definition of requirements, and estimating work necessary to realize a story through the delivery lifecycle
  • Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas
  • Automates manual release activities
  • Designs, develops, and maintains automated test suites (integration, regression, performance)
  • Design and build native mobile applications for Apple's iOS platform
  • Work with the design team to define application features
  • Ensure quality and performance meet specifications
  • Identify and resolve application bottlenecks
  • Fix bugs prior to final release
  • Publish applications on the App Store
  • Maintain and automate the application codebase
  • Design and implement application updates

Required Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of relevant experience
  • Proven experience as an app developer
  • Extensive experience with iOS frameworks and integrating vendor app SDKs
  • Knowledge of iOS back-end services
  • Familiarity with Apple's design principles and application interface guidelines

Desired Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Objective-C, Swift, and Swift UI
  • Knowledge of AI tools is a plus
  • Hands-on experience with Android development is a big plus
  • Proficient with code versioning tools such as Git and Bitbucket
  • Knowledge of C-based libraries
  • Familiarity with biometrics, push notifications, and camera APIs
  • Experience with continuous integration and unit testing
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering

Pay range

$102,900.00 - $179,900.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
