To book just a single truckload of Coca-Cola from Atlanta to Chicago, a freight broker might have to send and receive up to 50 phone calls, emails, and text messages — often consuming hours of their day. FleetWorks automates this manual labor with a seamless, omni-channel AI platform.
Our product is trusted by many of the top 100 brokers in the U.S., and we’re scaling fast. We’re now hiring our first in-house recruiter to help us grow with speed, precision, and intention. This is a unique opportunity to build the hiring function from the ground up at a fast-paced, mission-driven AI startup.
As our Lead Recruiter, you’ll own the full hiring funnel—partnering directly with founders, building high-signal processes, sourcing world-class technical and go-to-market talent, and ensuring an exceptional candidate experience from first touch to close. You’ll help shape not just the team, but the company culture as we scale.
You have 3–10 years of experience recruiting at high-growth startups, with a strong track record of building processes and closing top talent across technical and non-technical roles.
You’re a hands-on sourcer with great judgment and urgency—you know how to get from zero to hire, and you don’t wait for instructions.
You’re fluent in Ashby or similar tools, and can spin up systems that support scale without slowing things down.
You’re energized by ambiguity and ownership. You know how to prioritize, work fast, and build trust with busy founders.
You’re passionate about people and product—you care deeply about who joins the team and why, and you treat recruiting as a craft.
You're based in San Francisco or open to relocating. Our team works 5 days a week in-office in SoMa.
