About the Role

As a Legal Recruiter, you’ll manage the full recruiting cycle — from sourcing and vetting candidates to facilitating interviews and offer negotiations. You’ll collaborate directly with partners, hiring managers, and attorneys to help them make strategic career moves while delivering exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities

• Source, recruit, and build relationships with attorneys at all levels across the U.S.

• Partner with hiring teams at AmLaw, mid-size, and boutique firms to understand their needs and present top-tier candidates.

• Manage the full recruitment process: outreach, screening, interview coordination, offer negotiation, and placement follow-up.

• Maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).

• Stay up to date on legal market trends, compensation data, and practice area movements.

• Collaborate with internal colleagues to share insights and expand business relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; JD or prior law firm experience strongly preferred.

• 4-8 years of experience in recruiting, legal recruiting, or business development (agency or in-house).

• Strong understanding of law firm structures, practice areas, and attorney career paths.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.

• Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a results-driven environment.
