Position Summary
The Parts Counter Person and Parts Driver is responsible for assisting customers with automotive parts and accessories both in person and over the phone. This role includes locating and delivering parts, maintaining inventory, and ensuring proper stocking and warehouse upkeep. Strong organizational skills and customer service are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and stock incoming parts and accessories.
- Locate automotive parts from inventory or external sources and arrange for installation.
- Monitor parts inventory and update documentation accurately.
- Maintain current knowledge of vehicles, accessories, and promotions.
- Ensure timely and safe delivery of parts throughout the dealership.
- Perform warehouse housekeeping and maintain a clean work environment.
- Provide timely reports as required by management.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Work Schedule
This position requires availability from Tuesday through Saturday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- Previous automotive parts or dealership experience preferred.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Professional, dependable, and customer-focused attitude.
- Proficient computer and internet skills.
- Experience with Reynolds and Reynolds software is a plus.
- Ability to work Tuesday through Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
