Blue Tab is Levi's premium modern denim collection. Blue Tab design team is denim and style-obsessed, consumer-driven, and knows how to deliver premium, commercial and leading viable products. You will help lead the design process to deliver the Brand's most elevated and sophisticated expression, sustaining the development, evolution and communication of the Levi's brand that deepens our boldest brand identity.

About the Job

  • Communicate a clear design point of view for the Blue Tab collection in partnership with the Director to support the brand identity

  • Identify trends in the global and local marketplace and filter through brand aesthetic

  • Develop the selection of fabric, color, print/pattern, details and trims seasonally

  • Manage Men's and Women's design briefs, sketches, tech packs and sundry development

  • Manage creation of PLM BOM data integrity: protos, commercial samples and production

  • Manage assistant designer including calendar timelines, process and deliverables

  • Sustain partnerships with Merchandising, Product Development and Sourcing to ensure products are engineered to profit and quality/aesthetic goals

  • Deliver dynamic and inspiring presentations of the collection to leadership and our global partners

  • You'll report to the Director of Blue Tab Design

About You

  • 7+ years of design experience, including 3+ years as an apparel designer with a focus on Women's

  • Expertise in textiles and product development; working knowledge of garment construction, pattern-making, fabric construction, print and pattern, fabric finishing techniques and processes

  • Directed a team to execute design direction and prioritize deliverables through fast-paced change

  • Experience with relevant software & tools: CLO & Miro; Microsoft Office, Adobe CC and PLM programs

  • Experience with fit and garment construction

This is a hybrid position based in our San Francisco, CA headquarters. You will be expected in office 3 days per week typically Tuesday-Thursday. Note, time in office can vary depending on business needs.

The expected starting salary range for this role is $132,900-$177,200 per yearWe may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, performance and business needs.
