We're continuing to invest heavily in building the best creator platform with the best team in the creator economy and are looking for a Product Designer to join our Creation team.
This role is based in San Francisco or New York and open to those who are able to be in-office 2 days per week on a hybrid work model.

About the Team
Patreon is seeking a Product Designer to join our Creation team focused on overhauling the post creation experience—introducing powerful new capabilities while keeping the flow simple, intuitive, and delightful. This is a rare opportunity to shape one of the most essential parts of the Patreon platform: how creators publish and share their work with the world.
You’ll take ownership of key parts of the experience, working alongside a principal designer, a product managers, and a team of engineers to reimagine how creators publish across formats like video, audio, writing, and more. Your work will directly shape the tools that help creators earn a living doing what they love.
About the Role
Design thoughtful, high-quality product experiences across the post creation flow—from early exploration through final execution
Work cross-functionally to deeply understand creator needs, test ideas, and ship impactful solutions
Balance simplicity and flexibility to support a wide range of creative formats and workflows
Contribute to a multi-phase redesign that elevates usability, polish, and consistency
Create prototypes, flows, and visuals that bring clarity to complex product decisions
Collaborate with other designers to raise the bar for interaction and visual design
About You
3+ years of crafting end-to-end product design experiences
A portfolio that demonstrates strong interaction design, visual craft, creativity, and clear product thinking
Ability to simplify complex workflows without sacrificing power or flexibility
Comfortable working in iterative cycles—sketching, prototyping, testing, and refining
Strong communication and collaboration skills across design, product, and engineering
A deep care for creators and the tools that support their creative process

Patreon operates under a hybrid work model, where employees based in office locations are expected to come into the office two days per week, excluding sick time and paid leave. The posted salary range is dependent on the location and the level. This range may encompass multiple levels within the role’s job family. The final offer will be based on candidate’s experience, skills, competencies, and geographic location, aligning with the appropriate job level within Patreon’s levelling framework. For remote employees located outside CA and NY, salary may vary based on location and local market conditions.
