A leading digital streaming network seeks a Senior Revenue Accountant to support subscription-based revenue recognition, financial reporting, and month-end close activities within its digital and DTC business units. This role focuses on revenue accounting, reconciliations, and system-driven processes in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Senior Revenue Accountant Responsibilities:

• Manage month-end close activities, including journal entries, revenue recognition, deferred revenue rollforwards, and variance analysis.
• Perform subscription revenue accounting, including building revenue waterfalls, amortization schedules, and reconciling unbilled receivables and credit card transactions.
• Collaborate with cash and tax teams to support reconciliations, sales tax reporting, compliance, and coordination of payment-related entries.
• Partner with auditors and support SOX and audit requests by preparing documentation and responding to sample inquiries.
• Participate in ERP/system implementations, data validation, and process improvement initiatives, while supporting ad hoc financial analysis and reporting needs.

Senior Revenue Accountant Qualifications:

• 5+ years of accounting experience, with a focus on revenue recognition and subscription-based models.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience with Oracle or other major ERP systems.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, complex formulas).
• Experience with financial reconciliations, month-end close, and working with auditors.
• Experience with subscription/streaming, advertising media environments, payment gateways, or banking systems is preferred.
• Familiarity with tools such as Operative One, Salesforce, or Recurly, and exposure to foreign currency transactions is preferred.

Shift:

• 9:00 am to 6:00 pm or 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. (On-site on Wednesdays, or as needed)
• Will transition to full-time on-site by September 2026.
