Salary: $150,000 – $190,000 base + equity

What You Will Do

• Lead ambiguous, high-impact technical initiatives from concept to production.

• Design, build, and maintain scalable APIs, backend services, and customer-facing experiences.

• Contribute across the stack (frontend, backend, and platform) to deliver end-to-end solutions.

• Architect systems capable of supporting billions in annual payment volume with real-time controls and high reliability.

• Partner closely with Product, Operations, and GTM teams to translate customer needs into elegant technical solutions.

• Make thoughtful tradeoffs between speed, user experience, scalability, and long-term maintainability.

• Contribute to a strong engineering culture by participating in architecture discussions while remaining hands-on in the codebase.

Ideal Candidate Background

• 5–15 years of experience building and shipping B2B or B2C SaaS products.

• Strong recent experience in full-stack product engineering.

• Proven track record of taking products from 0 → 1 → scale.

• Experience as part of an early engineering team (first 20–50 engineers) at a scaling startup or high-growth company.

• Strong proficiency with React, Ruby on Rails, and Postgres (or comparable modern full-stack technologies).

• Comfortable leading technical discussions and owning complex architectural decisions.

• Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to incorporate feedback into product iterations.

• Demonstrated career progression and solid tenure history.

Preferred

• Experience working in fintech, payments, or transaction-heavy systems.

• Experience building systems involving ledgers, reconciliation, or financial infrastructure.

• Background in fast-paced, product-driven environments with strong customer engagement.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).

• Competitive base salary: $150K–$190K
