Office Type: Hybrid (3 days in-office; remote flexibility for strong candidates)
Salary: $130,000 – $190,000 base + competitive equity

Our client, Anzenna, is an early-stage cybersecurity startup building tools that organizations actually use—not shelfware that sits idle after purchase. Their platform connects across the modern security stack, helping companies make sense of large-scale security data and act on it in real time.

Operating at the intersection of cybersecurity, AI, and enterprise infrastructure, Anzenna integrates with over 100 platforms such as Okta, CrowdStrike, and Slack to provide actionable insights and automation for security teams.

With a lean team of ~15 employees and strong early momentum, Anzenna offers a unique opportunity to join a fast-moving company where engineers have direct impact on product direction, infrastructure, and customer experience.

What You Will Do

  • Build and maintain backend systems and integrations connecting Anzenna to 100+ enterprise security platforms
  • Design and develop core platform components to process large-scale security data
  • Work on event-driven pipelines leveraging Google Cloud Pub/Sub
  • Contribute to the multi-tenant data layer, including features like risk scoring, anomaly detection, and time-series aggregation
  • Support infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including deployments, monitoring, and observability
  • Ship new features on a weekly cadence in a fast iteration environment
  • Debug production issues and ensure system reliability at scale
  • Collaborate closely with the team and optionally engage directly with customers to inform product decisions

Ideal Candidate Background

  • 1–6 years of experience in backend or full-stack engineering
  • Strong programming fundamentals and problem-solving ability
  • Experience building backend systems, APIs, or data pipelines
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, early-stage startup environments
  • High ownership mindset with a willingness to take initiative
  • Comfortable debugging, shipping quickly, and learning new technologies

Preferred

  • Experience working with cloud platforms (especially GCP)
  • Familiarity with event-driven systems or distributed architectures
  • Exposure to cybersecurity, data infrastructure, or enterprise SaaS products
  • Experience working with large-scale data systems or real-time pipelines
  • Interest in AI-driven systems or anomaly detection
  • Experience collaborating directly with customers or end users

Compensation and Benefits
