Design and build scalable backend systems and distributed data pipelines that power AI-driven healthcare workflows.
Architect and implement data ingestion and integration infrastructure to connect with diverse healthcare systems and external data sources.
Build reliable systems that process large volumes of financial and healthcare data.
Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to improve customer onboarding speed and data reliability.
Solve complex data interoperability challenges across healthcare platforms.
Contribute to technical architecture decisions and help shape the company’s engineering roadmap and platform strategy.
Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical design documentation to maintain high engineering standards.
Work directly with internal teams and occasionally with customers to understand requirements and deliver impactful solutions.
3+ years of experience as a backend or full-stack software engineer (senior or staff-level candidates encouraged to apply).
Strong backend development experience using Python.
Experience building distributed systems, data pipelines, or large-scale backend infrastructure.
Background working at venture-backed startups or fast-moving technology companies.
Experience designing and maintaining data ingestion pipelines or ETL workflows.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with high ownership and autonomy.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work across complex technical systems.
Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow or Dagster.
Familiarity with healthcare data systems, interoperability standards, or revenue cycle management platforms.
Experience integrating systems across multiple APIs or legacy platforms.
Experience working in product-driven engineering teams that collaborate closely with customers.
Background from high-performing technology companies or high-growth startups.
Base Salary: $180,000 – $280,000 depending on experience
Equity: Early-stage equity package available
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (minimum 3 days per week in the NYC office)
