Responsibilities
Audit Support
· Prepare and provide auditors with supporting documentation using various internal systems.
· Review auditors’ workpapers, analyze findings, and prepare audit defense responses.
· Analyze, extrapolate, and evaluate audit exposure to identify risk and mitigation opportunities.
Tax Compliance
· Support the preparation and filing of sales and use tax returns and related schedules.
· Partner with outside consultants on projects, tax filings, and data requests.
· Research and respond to internal and external inquiries regarding tax rates, product classification, and exemption documentation.
· Maintain compliance calendars to ensure timely filings and remittances.
Other / Special Projects
· Manage and assist with indirect tax related and cross-functional projects, including data analytics and system enhancements.
· Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, and IT to ensure accuracy and integrity of transactional tax data.
· Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency.

The expected starting pay range for this position is $95,000 – $101,500. Applicable pay ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. In addition to competitive pay, compensation may include a variety of other components like benefits, paid time off, merit, and bonus opportunities.
