About the Team
You will be part of the General Accounting team based out of our headquarters in San Francisco, California. This team is responsible for ensuring the consolidated financial statements of Williams-Sonoma, Inc. are complete and accurate, including managing the global monthly accounting close.
Overview of the Role
We are looking for a Staff Accountant to support the General Ledger/Consolidation team with month end close activities and other tasks.
Responsibilities
Extended hours during our monthly and annual close periods will be required.
You have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
You have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a corporate accounting environment; global, publicly-traded company preferred
You have demonstrated strong analytical skills
You are a self-starter, are highly reliable and have a strong work ethic
You have solid professional judgment and know when to escalate
You adapt to changes quickly
You can work well under pressure and produce high-quality work within tight deadlines
You are professional in your communications (both written and verbal)
Proficient in Excel: creating pivot tables, advanced formulas and functions e.g. VLOOKUPS
Previous experience with Oracle Cloud ERP is a plus

The expected starting pay range for this position is $80,000 - $90,000. Applicable pay ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. In addition to competitive pay, compensation may include a variety of other components like benefits, paid time off, merit, and bonus opportunities.
