Role Summary/Purpose:
Drive growth, consumer sales penetration, and profitability for a portfolio of top home furnishings retail partners within the Home & Auto platform. This highly visible role requires a proven marketing leader who can translate partner objectives into actionable strategies, lead cross-functional execution, and deliver new account acquisition and incremental card usage through innovative, compliant marketing tactics.
Essential Responsibilities:
Partner with clients and internal stakeholders to assess needs, goals, and opportunities; develop and execute growth plans aligned to partner business objectives and H&A platform priorities.
Own key marketing performance indicators (KPIs) versus plan; optimize marketing investment to maximize incrementality and profitability.
Build and maintain strong relationships across partner organizations to ensure alignment, engagement, and effective communication.
Lead in-store and digital marketing execution in collaboration with partners (e.g., signage, associate training, web/mobile experiences, owned and paid media), integrating credit across relevant consumer touchpoints.
Manage an integrated marketing calendar for each partner, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery of proven strategies that support annual goals.
Ensure all marketing activity follows Synchrony and client advertising, brand, and compliance requirements; leverage established internal processes and controls.
Educate partners on market dynamics, consumer insights, and emerging opportunities; proactively introduce new ideas to strengthen engagement and campaign performance.
Develop and implement clear, differentiated value propositions across promotional financing, rewards, discounts, and benefits.
Collaborate closely with Sales, Analytics, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Marketing support teams to deliver results and resolve roadblocks.
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or (in lieu of a degree) high school diploma/GED with 10+ years of marketing experience in credit card or financial services.
6+ years of progressive marketing experience; credit card or financial services experience strongly preferred.
Ability and flexibility to travel for business as required

MBA with a concentration in Marketing.
Demonstrated track record of delivering against plan and achieving measurable business results.
Strong project and portfolio management skills; ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Strong analytical capability, including segmentation and targeting strategies.
Strong command of marketing measurement, testing, and program performance optimization.
Experience partnering effectively with internal sales teams and external retail partners.
Strong executive presence and presentation skills.
Ability to influence and drive alignment across levels and functions.
Grade/Level: 12
The salary range for this position is 110,000.00 - 185,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.
Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.

You will be required to commute to your nearest Hub (either virtual or physical) for in-person engagement activities such as regular business or team meetings, training and culture events.

Eligibility Requirements:
You must be 18 years or older
You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months’ time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance expectations).
