We are looking for a talented Growth Marketing Manager to optimize our user journey and maximize marketing effectiveness to drive subscriber growth for our personalized strength training app.Β We are a leading fitness technology company that helps millions of users achieve their fitness goals with customized plans tailored to their unique needs and equipment.

Job Duties:

  • Own and optimize the user conversion funnel, identifying key drop-off points and implementing strategies to improve conversion rates from visitor to trial to paid subscriber.
  • Develop and execute targeted campaigns to engage trial users, address their concerns, and showcase the value of the product to maximize conversion.
  • Proactively identify users at risk of cancellation and implement strategies to recover them, increase user loyalty, and minimize churn.
  • Utilize our email platform, Iterable, to design, implement, and analyze automated email sequences, promotional campaigns, and personalized messaging that drives user action.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Product, Design, Engineering) to integrate growth initiatives across various channels, including in-app messaging, push notifications, and paid acquisition.
  • Design, execute, and analyze A/B tests and other experiments to optimize campaign performance, improve user engagement, and drive incremental revenue.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics (e.g., conversion rates, trial-to-paid conversion, churn rate, customer lifetime value) to inform growth strategies and adjust plans as needed.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to stakeholders on key growth metrics, campaign performance, and insights gained from experiments.

Ideal Background:

  • 5-7 years of experience in growth marketing, product growth, or a similar role in a fast-paced, subscription-based, mobile app environment.
  • Proven track record of driving growth and optimizing conversion rates (CRO).
  • Experience developing and optimizing customer lifecycle journeys across multiple touchpoints.
  • Hands-on experience creating, implementing, and managing email campaigns, with proficiency in email service providers like Iterable, Braze, or Mailchimp.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on metrics and demonstrable results (e.g., CTR improvements, conversion rate increases).
  • Comfort with data analysis tools like SQL, Looker, Amplitude, Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or Appsflyer.
  • Proven ability to design and execute experiments across pricing, promotions, trial lengths, abandoned user recovery, and cancellation win-back strategies.
  • Experience in fast-paced startup environments and consumer-focused mobile apps.
  • Basic design skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) for rapid iteration of email and in-app assets.
  • Knowledge of mobile app marketing best practices and attribution.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
