Location: San Francisco, CA. Preferably on-site with hybrid flexibility, with at least 3 days per week in the office.
Note: Candidates must have at least 2+ years of substantive paralegal experience in a litigation environment, along with strong drafting, legal research, and filing experience.

Job Description
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, notices, interrogatories, affidavits, and other litigation documents under attorney supervision
- Prepare substantive first drafts of legal documents, not just formatting or administrative support
- Assist with trial preparation including exhibits, witness binders, TOC/TOA, and trial notebooks
- Summarize depositions, court transcripts, and witness testimony
- Support witness coordination, declarations, and trial logistics
- Conduct legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, or similar platforms
- Draft research memoranda, proposed orders, and other analytical documents
- Manage discovery workflows, document review, and document production
- Maintain organized case files and document management systems
- Track deadlines, filing requirements, service obligations, and procedural timelines
- Prepare and submit filings in state and federal courts using PACER and court e-filing systems
- Use sound judgment to identify inconsistencies, compliance risks, and case support needs before issues arise
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program strongly preferred
- 2+ years of substantive paralegal experience, preferably in litigation or trial practice
- Experience drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation documents
- Strong legal research skills using Westlaw, LexisNexis, or equivalent
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Advanced Word skills including redlining, TOC, and track changes
- Experience with state and federal e-filing systems including PACER
- Familiarity with case management, document management, and eDiscovery platforms is a plus
- Strong written communication, organization, judgment, and attention to detail
