Location: San Francisco, CA
Job Type: Full-Time (Monday–Friday)
Salary Range: $140,000 – $170,000 (based on experience)

About the Practice: We are a growing, private orthopedic practice located in the heart of San Francisco. Our team is passionate about providing personalized, high-quality musculoskeletal care in a supportive, patient-centered environment. As we expand, we are looking for a dedicated Physician Assistant to join our collaborative team and contribute to the long-term success of the practice.

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to manage a clinic-based patient panel with a focus on orthopedic care. This role will involve evaluating and treating new and existing patients, managing pre- and post-operative care, and collaborating closely with our orthopedic surgeon and clinical team. This is a clinic-only position — no operating room time or surgical responsibilities required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Independently manage your own patient panel under physician supervision
  • Conduct detailed orthopedic evaluations and develop treatment plans
  • Provide pre-operative education and post-operative follow-up care
  • Perform joint and soft tissue injections (training provided if needed)
  • Order and interpret imaging and diagnostic tests
  • Coordinate care and referrals as needed
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EHR system
  • Participate in clinical team meetings and contribute to practice growth initiatives
Qualifications:
  • Valid California PA license and NCCPA certification
  • 1+ years of clinical experience as a Physician Assistant (any specialty)
  • Interest in orthopedics; prior ortho experience preferred but not required — training available
  • Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment
What We Offer:
  • Competitive salary ($140K–$170K based on experience)
  • Monday–Friday schedule (no weekends, no call, no OR time)
  • Training and mentorship in orthopedic care
  • Supportive team culture in a growing private practice
  • Paid time off, CME allowance, and health benefits
