Are you ready to design technology that directly cuts emissions from the maritime industry? We're building a dual-fuel hydrogen-diesel plugin system to retrofit vessels and reduce their environmental footprint and we’re looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to help make it happen.
Lead the design, testing, and deployment of dual-fuel (hydrogen-diesel) retrofit systems for internal combustion engines on ships.
Develop and execute test plans, process diagrams, and safety assessments.
Interpret test data to improve 1D/3D combustion models and drive performance upgrades.
Provide hands-on support with IC engine components and hydrogen fuel system troubleshooting.
Oversee on-board system installation and ensure operational success.
Apply knowledge of combustion chemistry, pollutant formation, and fuel behavior in engine settings.
Master’s degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Strong technical foundation in mechanical and electrical systems.
Experience working with dual-fuel internal combustion engines.
Familiarity with hydrogen systems is highly desirable.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, NX).
Hands-on, implementation-focused mindset.
Ph.D. in engineering.
Background in maritime or automotive industries.
Experience with ship engineering documentation or classification standards (e.g., Lloyd’s Register, DNV).
Skills in LabVIEW, MATLAB, Python, or CFD simulation tools like GT-Suite or CONVERGE.
Passion for sustainable energy and climate-impact technology.
Work on immediate solutions to decarbonize maritime transportation.
Contribute to a high-impact mission in a fast-paced, execution-driven environment.
Potential to grow into team or technical leadership roles.
